KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS, ST. JUDE COUNCIL #6617
The Knights of Columbus are a vital and vibrant part of the St Luke the Evangelist Parish. We welcome any practicing Catholic man, 18 or older to join the Knights. We are sons, fathers, husbands and grandfathers, whose main purpose is charitable works in support of our parish and community. Where there is a need, there is a Knight. St. VINCENT de PAUL SOCIETY
The St. Vincent de Paul Society is looking for new members! Have you ever wondered what the St. Vincent de Paul Society is all about? Our meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday at 7 PM of each month. New members are always welcome. We look forward to meeting you and answering any questions. EUCHARISTIC ADORATION
Eucharistic Adoration is a marvelous way to quiet oneself and to offer prayer before Christ in the Blessed Sacrament. We are truly blessed to have times for Eucharistic Adoration of Our Lord in our Parish. This time of prayer and intercession is not only a source of great grace for the individual, but it is also a great source of grace for us as a Parish family.
The response to our new schedule for Adoration has been wonderful. Thank you to all who signed up. This week when you go to Adoration there will be a paper with your name on it that will have contact information of your “Captain” and also the other people who share your hour. Adoration is open to all; if you did not sign up and want to spend time in quiet prayer, you are most welcome to do so. If you would like to sign up and did not, please contact Cathy Smith at the office at 382-8324 or csmith@stluketheevangelist.net.
ADORATION SCHEDULE:
- Plaistow: There is NO Adoration in Plaistow, but the Church is open all day on Wednesdays for prayer
- Newton: Thursdays from 8:30AM through 8:30PM
